Our Black Oxide Finish Services
Deliver consistent black conversion coatings with 0.5-2.5μm thickness control. Our chemical processing lines handle parts up to 2m in length, offering three process variants: Hot alkaline black oxide (140-150°C) Mid-temperature (90-100°C) Room temperature blackening
What is Black Oxide Finish?

A chemical conversion process where:

1.Ferrous metals react with alkaline oxidizers

2.Forms magnetite (FeO) surface layer

3.Maintains precise part dimensions

Technical specifications:

Coating weight: 0.5-3.0 g/ft²

Salt spray resistance: 12-96 hours (with sealant)

Surface roughness: Ra 0.2μm change
